Hi! I am so glad you’re here! I've been a photographer for THIRTEEN years?!?!? and have a heart to capture your family….why??? Because my family keeps getting older and I, like you, want to freeze time. I’m a wife to Jeremy Gauntt…going on 17 years!!! and a momma to my 3 babies who are somehow 15, 14 and 11. I'm so passionate about families because it lets me capture those perfect moments that you never really want to end. I often fall in love with my clients and come away so blessed and inspired by their stories. Seriously. The best clients...and I can't wait for you to be one, too.
You will typically see me shooting with a Canon 5D Mark iii and my 50/1.2 Sigma ART is my go-to lens. I shoot on 2 cards simultaneously and when I get home, your images are immediately downloaded to 3 different drives. I backup my backups because your images are that important to me.
On a more personal note...when I'm not behind my camera or editing your images, you'll find me dating my husband, loving on our three kiddos or spending time with our precious friends, and building my other biz, Lyla Jewelry Co. I am sure that Cookies and Cream Ice Cream and Jalapeno Margs and working out are from the Heavens and basically keep me sane, next to Christ and Jeremy Gauntt, of course.
I often stop and think HOW IN THE WORLD did I get blessed by this dream job? My very own photography business, being trusted to capture the sweetest times of your lives and all the moments in between, it is truly a gift. I will continue to work hard, to learn and am forever humbled.
